Update from the Farm!

We wanted to share a little seasonal update and what’s been happening here at Fairview Flowers.

Our dahlias are finally blooming, and we couldn’t be happier. With over 25 plants now flowering, the garden beds are starting to fill with colour. Every day brings something new — fresh blooms opening, petals unfurling, and that lovely feeling that the season has truly arrived.

Alongside the dahlias, our Geraldton wax is also beginning to bloom. We have eight plants coming into flower, adding a beautiful native touch to the garden. Their delicate, waxy blooms are a favourite filler flower and work so well with the bold shapes of dahlias.

While we’re enjoying what’s flowering now, we’re also thinking ahead. At the moment, we’re sowing more zinnias and snapdragons, planting the next round of colour that will carry us through the coming weeks.

We’ve been especially grateful for the weather lately — no damaging storms and gentle warmth, which means the garden is thriving and the heat hasn’t been hurting our flowers. Everything feels steady, healthy, and full of promise.

We’re only at the beginning of the season and can’t wait to share more as the garden continues to grow.
