Welcome to 2026 – Happy New Year!

Happy New Year and welcome to 2026! 🌻

We’re kicking off the year with an incredible burst of growth on the farm, and it’s been so exciting to watch everything come to life.

Our blooms are well and truly up and away. The sunflowers are rising strong, and the dahlias have officially started budding. We currently have 21 dahlias growing on the farm, each one showing early signs of what we hope will be a stunning season ahead.

With the recent summer storms, we’ve had our fingers crossed that the dahlias stay healthy and avoid rot. To give them the best possible chance, we’ve carefully prepared the beds to ensure good drainage and support through the wetter conditions. So far, they’re holding up beautifully.

We’re also thrilled to see our purple statice beginning to bud — a sure sign that the season is moving in the right direction.

To top it all off, we officially fulfilled our very first subscription order for 2026 today — and it was so much fun to create. There’s something incredibly special about making that first order of the year, and it’s given us even more excitement for what’s ahead. If there’s one thing the past few weeks have reminded me of, it’s this: never give up. Farming (and life!) can throw plenty of challenges your way, but patience, persistence, and a little faith go a long way.
